This lesson guides users through accessing Families without Students. The Families without Students list automatically includes households where all students are enrolled in “out-of-district” schools, as well as households with only graduated students.
Families without Students
- Go to Registration.
- Select Families without Students.
- Use the filters as needed and select Search to generate a list.
If the district is using eSchoolData for Census purposes, the Families without Students list may also include households in the database that contain NO students.
Even when the district is NOT using eSchoolData for Census purposes, including households with no students in the database allows users to generate labels for district-wide mailings.
When neither of these functions are utilized, households with NO students should be deleted on a regular basis.
