Occasionally, after a student has been re-enrolled, they do not actually return to the school. In these cases, the student should NOT be transferred out again, because the re-enrollment records cannot subsequently be deleted, since they will be tied to a transfer record. In order to remove the re-enrollment records, the district needs to undo the previous transfer (which wipes out the re-enrollment), then transfer the student again.
Undo Re-enrollment
- Go to Registration.
- Select Transferred Students.
- Use the filters as needed and select Search.
- Select the Undo icon to reverse the student’s most recent Transfer, then select OK to confirm the Undo.
The student’s re-enrollment record and last transfer record will be deleted, and the student’s prior enrollment record (in their Transferred From school) will be restored.
Go to Registration > Students, locate the student and transfer them out again, using the same Last Day, Transferred To school and Transfer Reason as the original transfer.
Jot down the Transferred From school, Last Day, Transferred To school and Transfer Reason, as they will be needed to transfer the student again.
