This lesson guides users through a more in depth review of each tab from a submitted online registration application. After reviewing applications, determined if they should be accepted, rejected, or on hold.
Where to Start
- Go to Registration.
- Select Online Registration.
- Select the Review icon on the desired application.
Household Information Tab
- On the Household Information tab, the Similar Household column displays potential matches
based on Surname and Household Street Address (street number and street name). Inactive households are included in the Similar Household list. - If NO potential matches are found for Surname OR Household Street Address, the system
presents ALL households. Users can Search to find households with a matching Surname OR a
matching Street Address (street number and street name). - Use the Previous/Next buttons in instances when there are multiple pages of information as they relate to the tab.
Guardian Contacts Tab
- Go to the Guardian Contacts tab.
- Select a potential match to populate the System column for comparison with the application data. Similar Guardian Contacts are drawn from the guardians associated with students in the selected Household. If the family is new to the district (no matching Household was selected), then no similar Contacts will be listed.
- When multiple Guardians are included, select Next and/or Previous to review each contact’s
information.
Emergency Contacts Tab
- Go to the Emergency Contacts tab.
- . Select a potential match to populate the System column for comparison with the application data. Similar Emergency Contacts are drawn from the Emergency Contacts associated with students in the selected Household. If the family is new to the district (no matching Household was selected),
then no similar Contacts will be listed. - Select Next and/or Previous to review each contact’s information.
Student Information Tab
- Go to the Student Information tab.
- For EACH student in the application, select the applicable School, Grade, Start Date and
Enrollment Reason. Users will be warned if the selected potential match has an open enrollment record, and asked if they wish to proceed. If they select yes, the system will update the student’s Scheduling School and Scheduling Grade to the selected values. The student’s current enrollment will not be modified. - When multiple Students are included, select Next and/or Previous to review each student’s information.
- Similar Students are those associated to the selected Household. If the family is new to the
district (no matching Household was selected), then no similar Students will be listed.
Account Information Tab
- Go to the Account Information tab.
- Use the options at the top of the application to update the status:
- Select On Hold to hold the application for further review/action (does not save
any links or review selections). - Select Save to save the links and review selections and hold the application for future action.
- Select Accept or Reject to accept/reject the application. When an application is Accepted or Rejected, the application’s status is changed and the Processed On date is added to the record. An email is automatically sent to the Contact who signed the application, with details of the action taken. In addition, when an application is Accepted, the system will create new records, or update existing records, as needed.
- Select Close to take no action on the application.

For new Households and/or new Guardian records, Parent Portal accounts will be generated automatically for EACH Guardian on the application with Correspondence checked AND an Email Address flagged as Primary. Emails are automatically sent to Guardians with new Portal accounts, containing their User ID and a temporary Password, along with a link to activate their account.
