The reports allow users to view and manage staff members’ schedules for the selected scheduling year. From the Staff Utilization tab (default tab), users can view the number of classes and total students assigned to each staff member.
Where to Start
- Go to Reports.
- Select Scheduling.
- Choose Staff Utilization Reports from the menu.
Staff Utilization
The Staff Utilization tab opens by default. This opens a list of Staff with the number of Classes and Number of Students.
- Select the Excel icon to down the report.
Staff Schedule Matrix
From the Staff Schedule Matrix tab, users can view a matrix of each staff member’s class meeting times and free times.
- Scheduled meeting times are represented by a black Xed-box icon.
- conflicting meeting times are represented by a red Xed-box icon.
- Free times are represented by a green checked-box icon .
- In addition, the report can be modified to show conflicts in a staff member’s schedule by selecting the Show Conflict Only checkbox and selecting Search.
Multiple class meeting times associated to the same teacher and Minute Block period will NOT display as staff schedule conflicts, since Minute Block periods do not have defined Start/End Times.
Users can update staff assignments directly from the Staff Schedule Matrix tab. Select the black Xed-box icon or the red Xed-box icon under a period column to open the Update Assignment screen. Select the class to update using the radio button. From the Select Staff To Assign drop down menu, select a new staff member to assign to the class. When finished, select Update.
Staff Free Time Report
From the Staff Free Time Report tab, users can view the staff’s specified free times for the selected scheduling year.
- Select the View icon next to the teacher’s name to access the Staff Member Information screen directly from this report.
- Select the Excel icon to export this report to Excel.
Staff Load Report
From the Staff Load Report tab, users can view the number of students assigned to each staff member by day or by course.
- Select individual Staff members or a Department. When searching by Department, inactive staff are filtered from the Staff Load Report.
- Select the applicable Course Options and Types from the corresponding filter fields as needed.
- Select By Days or By Courses at the bottom of the filters to generate the report.
