Users can define the courses for which a teacher can be assigned, Staff Courses, as well as the times when a teacher cannot have a course assigned, Free Times.
Where to Start
- Go to System.
- Select Staff.
- The Staff menu opens by default.
- Select the View icon for the desired staff member.
- Select Free Time or Staff Courses to access the menus respectively.
Users may also define staff Free Times to prevent the eSchoolData Builder from assigning a teacher to a resource class when they will be unavailable.
From the Edit Free Time List for Next Year screen, select a free time Type (Selectable, Fixed), then use the Semester, Day, and From Period/To Period menus to choose a meeting time during which the staff member should NOT be assigned to resource classes by the eSchoolData Builder. When finished, select Save.
On the Staff Course List for Next Year screen, users can Delete existing staff courses, or click New to create a new staff course.
From the Add Staff Course for Next Year screen, select a course from the drop down menu. Enter the maximum number of sections for the course that the staff member can teach. When finished, select Save.
