The Attendance Letter Template Builder allows the user to drag and drop widgets into the template in order to customize the information displayed in the letter.

Module Level: Attendance > Attendance Letter Template (Add, Edit, View, Delete)
By default, the Attendance Letter Builder opens to a blank Page Layout screen. Users can Collapse or Expand the Widgets List.
Drag the desired Widgets into the Layout. Multiple Widgets can be placed in the same Layout section, and Widgets can be repeated on the Page Layout multiple times, as needed.
After changing a Widget’s Settings, scroll to the bottom of the Settings and Save the changes. When editing an existing template to change a Widget’s Settings, Save the Widget’s Settings and the Template.
- Click Settings to customize each Widget. The Settings for Widgets allow users to choose among the following:
Orientation (expandable section) - The user can set the Orientation of the widget’s fields to be horizontal or vertical
Caption (expandable section) - The user can set a caption for the widget.
Header (expandable section) - The user can display a header for the fields.
Fields (expandable section) - The user can select which fields to display. A list of fields and options available are listed below, in the Fields and Options section.
Font (expandable section) - The user can change the font to Arial, Comic Sans, Courier New, Tahoma, Times New Roman and Verdana.
Size (expandable section) - The user can adjust font sizes from 7pt to 12pt, in 1pt increments.
Decoration (expandable section) - The user can choose between these font decorations: None, Bold, Italics, Underline, Bold/Italics, Bold/Underline, Bold/Italics/Underline, and Italics/Underline.
Alignment (expandable section) - The user can select one of the following Alignment options: Left, Right, Center, Indent 1 and Indent 2.
Border (expandable section) - The user can opt to add a border to the widget’s elements. The Border options are No Border, Complete Border, Top Only, Bottom Only, Top and Bottom.
Label (expandable section) - The user can set the order of the fields within the widget. This setting is only available for a handful of widgets.
Sequence (expandable section) - The user can set the display name of the fields within the widget. This setting is only available for a handful of widgets.
- Make changes to the settings, as desired
- Click Save when finished
Fields and Options
For each Widget, the Fields and Options are listed below. The Options allow the user what to include/display for each field.

The Footer widget should only be used to create a page break within the Attendance Letter Template. Do not add a Footer widget at the end of the Template. The system will automatically create a page break between attendance letters during the run.

To insert Fields, click the Fields icon , or right click and select Insert Field from the right click menu. Hover over the Rich Text icons to see their tooltip name.
