This lesson begins assuming you have downloaded the app and logged in. For more information, visit Download and Log In to the Mobile App.
Dashboard
- The Student name and photo (if available) appear at the top of the Dashboard, along with the Day Code.
- If more than one student is linked to your account, swipe to the left or right to navigate between records.
- Messages and Year to Date Daily Absences appear at the top of Insights.
- If teacher Gradebooks are enabled, the running average for each course is displayed.
- Use the three line menu at the top left to open additional options.
Left Menu
- Choose the student's name to view Student Details, including their schedule, attendance, and classwork.
- The Calendar provides information about upcoming days and important events. See the Calendar tab below for a preview.
- Messages takes users to an Inbox of all messages. For a preview, see the Message tab below.
- Settings allows users to update account information and app settings. For a preview, see the Settings tab below.
- Select Sign Out to be logged out and return to the login screen.
Messages may not be available. This is dependent on your school's setup.
Student Details
The Student Schedule opens by default.
- The student name, ID, grade, and email address appear at the top.
- The current Term is selected by default. Use the Filter to view a different timeframe is desired.
- The current Day Code is highlighted if school is in session. In this case, B is highlighted as the current Day Code.
- Use the tabs at the bottom, or scroll left and right, to view Attendance and Classwork.
- Select the square QR code icon to open a QR code for this student. Staff members at the school can scan this code to access the student's schedule, attendance, and classwork.
Calendar
The Calendar tab notes Day Codes and any other important events defined by the school, such as No School days. The Calendar can be filtered as needed to view information for various times of year.
Messages
The Inbox displays any messages from Teachers/Staff to Parents or Students. Unread messages are denoted with a blue dot.
Settings
- Language can be set to English or Spanish.
- Theme can be set to Light, Dark, or System.
- Users can reset their password. Adult users can also enable a biometric login. For Apple users, this is Face ID, and for Android users, this is thumbprint or fingerprint ID.
