By enabling the eSchoolData Mobile App, organizations can improve communication, increase accessibility, and enhance the overall user experience for staff, parents, and students. This lesson shows administrators how to enable the mobile app for their organization.
Enable Mobile App
- Go to Interoperability.
- Select eSP.
- Choose Mobile Settings.
- Enable the Mobile App for Staff, Students, and/or Parents.
- Select Save to sync accounts.
Initially, the sync process may take several minutes to complete. Even if mobile access has previously been enabled, it is necessary to complete this step again at the beginning of the school year.
Once the Mobile App is enabled, share users can Download and Log In to the Mobile App.
Messaging
If you would like messaging be to available within the app, Messaging must be enabled for Parents and/or Students, and Permissions must be granted to Staff.
Enable Messaging
- Go to Interoperability.
- Select eSP.
- Choose Messaging Settings.
- Enable for Students and/or Guardians as desired.
- Select Save.
Permissions
Group level permissions must be enabled.
